WASH Map and Campaign

WASH Map and Campaign are one of the IGAF Eco-projects that have been executed at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), aiming to educate university students of how to be more aware about the importance of water, sanitation, and hygiene by means of mapping and campaigning. The mapping has been conducted in certain sites at the university that are sources of water and sanitation burdens and the students must know the burdens. In addition, we have conducted some campaigns that are beneficial to advance the awareness of WASH program at the universities. One of the activities of the WASH Map and Campaign is Rakpungpah in which the activity is intended to provide clean and smooth-streaming water trenches around IPB. We have attempted to clean the trenches from plastic wastes and other water pollutants by means of manual and modern technologies provided by IPB. Besides the activity, we conduct a monthly discussion and campaign about SDG 6.
